I just had one. Quit my job and travel somewhere else to work a temporary job. Maybe I could be a beginning snowboard instructor? I just read this blog: lostgirlsworld.com and it sounded really fun. Three chicks quit their jobs, granted they are journalists and it's easy to go back to that, especially with global experience, and traveled the world for a year on $15,000. Who's in?

Happy New Year!

Since I am definitely not getting any work accomplished, thought I'd post a note to say Happy New Year and best wishes for 2008 to everyone.

Adri has been my pseudo-roommate slash personal assistant for the last few days. We've had a good time making other people think we're really stupid. The latest incident involved a coupon for "Buy two sodas, get a popcorn free" at the movie theater. We tried to walk off with both the sodas and the popcorn free and the high schooler working the reg' was not amused!

I have come to a life-altering decision. I will be driving to Salt Lake for the weekend and New Year's Eve. Boarding at Brighton and a cameo to Sinclair are all I have on the agenda as yet. Next I think a trip to Oregon and Cali again are in order. Though it is Steele's and KT's turn. Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be planning a trip for later in January/February. Should probably start that. Ideas?

Happy Chrismukkah, etc. Christmas cards are starting to arrive, the office smells of pine and the chocolates are more than readily available. They are practically walking themselves down my throat. It's time for snuggling by the fire. I'm single. Great! Cola it is!

Snow!

TGIS...3 inches this morning and it's still snowing. Guess that means I should buy a shovel.

Wow, two weeks!

Two weeks later....Well, nothing exciting is going on. Let's start our ten things to do before you die list...

1) Drink coffee on a balcony in the Amalfi Coast (Steele's already done this!)
2) Own my own business
3) Speak Italian well
4) Have 2 kids (better you never thought I'd say that)
5) Own a second home in South America (sure, why not) or a condo in Florence, IT
6) Learn to fly a plane
7) Sing karaoke
8) Write a book
9) Edit a book
10) Complete a triathlon
